The aim of the project is to increase the plant’s competitiveness by introducing innovations on a global scale that have been used for the last 3 years – compact milling machines created to meet the needs of specific Customers with a solid, reinforced – cast iron – construction.

The main objective of the project carried out by LF D. Jendrysko, M. Luib sp. komandytowa was to increase the company’s competitiveness by implementing product and non-technological innovations on the market. 

As part of the project entitled "Increasing the company's competitiveness by expanding its product range with innovative compact cast iron milling machines dedicated to companies in the metal sector," implemented under the Regional Operational Program of the Silesian Voivodeship for 2014-2020, LF D. Jendrysko, M. Luib sp. komandytowa introduced new products to the company's offering: individually designed compact milling machines with a robust, reinforced cast iron construction that improves machine rigidity by at least 50% and largely eliminates the drawbacks of common aluminum profile structures. Additionally, the company introduced an organizational innovation based on comprehensive workflow management and scheduling of unplanned production orders based on demand data using cloud computing. This innovation is related to process automation through the implementation of a Just In Time supplier collaboration system (just-in-time deliveries). 

Organizational solutions introduced to the company enable maintaining competitiveness:

– on-demand production based on demand data using cloud computing;

– just-in-time deliveries – product availability 5 days after placing an order electronically – in order to optimise order fulfilment;

– remote negotiations and renegotiations of contracts with Customers using cloud computing, including sending commercial offers electronically;

The project implemented by the company was part of the activities of the RPO WSL because

– led to an increase in the use of innovations in SMEs and an increase in the competitiveness of the economy by searching for and implementing innovative solutions aimed at increasing the efficiency of enterprise operations;

– ensured that competitiveness and jobs in SMEs were maintained by introducing innovations better and more efficiently than the competition;

– enabled the company to increase its competitiveness along with the optimization of production processes in the plant – enabling the maximum use of available resources – human, financial and information;
